ESFRI at ICRI 2022
The 4th International Conference on Research Infrastructures ICRI2022 runs in Brno from the 19th to the 21st of October, under the care of the Czech Presidency of the European Council. ICRI2022 is a major worldwide event providing an opportunity for strategic discussions about international cooperation in research infrastructure. A variety of experts and stakeholders discuss challenges and emerging trends, highlighting the essential role of research infrastructures.
ESFRI has a long history of contributing substantially to the content and discussions of all previous ICRI editions. This year the Conference is devoted to the role of RIs in addressing grand challenges and emergencies, focusing at the same time on medium and long-term mitigation solutions that need to be developed and established. ESFRI has already set a plan to assist in promoting international cooperation in these endeavors and widening the participation of the R&I community in designing RIs and services that will be targeted towards these challenges.
In ICRI2022, several ESFRI members and ESFRI Roadmap RI representatives participate in the program, presenting the European perspective in a host of subjects and adding their knowhow to panels. Just go to the conference programme and explore! All sessions are also streamed online here.
