Online
28.04.2022

The ESFRI Landscape Analysis (ESFRI-LA) from 2021 provides a picture of the most relevant Research Infrastructures that are available to European and international scientists and technology developers. It provides an advanced analysis of the scientific needs and existing Research Infrastructure gaps as well as directions for strategic investments in the future that would help maintain Europe’s leadership in the global context.

The participatory online workshop on 28 April 2022 will provide ESFRI with the necessary input on the opportunity to exchange ideas on the requirements and approaches for a more strategically oriented future ESFRI-LA. It will kick-off discussions with different stakeholders on priority needs and actions for the further assessment and development of the ESFRI-LA in view of the next ESFRI Roadmap. Furthermore, it will contribute to the implementation of the ESFRI white paper and the ERA-policy agenda.

Invited ESFRI delegates and key experts from ESFRI and national research infrastructures, science and innovation, as well as national policy makers, funders, and further key stakeholders are kindly invited to contribute their perspectives in thematic round-table and plenary discussions.

The ESFRI-LA workshop will begin in the morning and run until the early afternoon of the 28th April. It is co-organised and supported by the StR-ESFRI2 Project - Support to Reinforce ESFRI, and the European Commission - DG Research and Innovation. Participation is by invitation only.
